Eileen Root

Eileen Root became part of the Alan J. Eckstrand, LLC team in January of 2008, after graduating college and having a short career as a family counselor (from 1997 – 2003). In 2003, she had her son, Matthew, and decided to be a stay-at-home mom. She became Alan’s client in 2006 after opening one policy and loved it so much, she opened five other policies over the years.

After talking with Alan in 2006 and learning that he was hiring for part time “home work,” Eileen immediately signed on the dotted line. That part time “home work” steadily increased to full time, and she assumed the role of Executive Vice President of Operations and is our New Business and Customer Service Manager. If there is a question the agents or administrative assistants can’t answer, Eileen is their “go-to” person. She has developed personal and professional relationships with the different insurance companies, making her an asset to Alan J. Eckstrand, LLC., and our clients.

Eileen, a partner of Alan J. Eckstrand, LLC. since January of 2023, lives in Torrington, CT with her husband (Chuck), her son (Matthew), and her 4-legged daughter (Ava Mae). When Eileen isn’t working, she’s either spending time with her family, creating DIY projects (glue gun in hand!!), lifting weights, or doing cardio at the gym. Eileen strives to be as strong and healthy as she can, not only because it feels good, but because it does wonders for her mental health. A healthy mind boosts focus and productivity and increases efficiency, which in turn is a win-win for everyone.
